During Feet First Company Holiday Party, we took our staff to the Ronald McDonald House in Southern California. We got the chance to cook meals for some amazing people. These families who are staying there while their children are in area hospitals receiving treatments for a variety of serious illnesses. The people are from all over the world.
While the food was being prepared, the families were able to try and wrap their heads around some life size versions of Jenga and Memory. Children, some of whom are ill and others are the siblings of the kids in the hospitals, were playing together.
The larger it is, the harder it gets?:
It was truly heartwarming to see the kids having a great time playing with us. We met and chatted with many of the parents. Our hearts go out to them during a very difficult period.
